Advantages of Continuity

Continuity with your wording and practice brings incentives that improve every part of your life.

i) Continuity should be calculated, so that success could be achieved.

You cannot tell whether it succeeds or not until you’ve experienced it different for a period of time and in a consistent manner. How do you determine efficacy if you do not regularly do what you are measuring?

Seek for new strategies, procedures, and organisational frameworks at least six months before considering if they are successful or ineffective. It is always slight changes instead of massive updates that make an impact.

ii) Continuity increases transparency.

Allow workers to be accountable for their timelines and objectives. They are going to expect the same in exchange from your leadership. Put a priority on making resources accessible to your team. Work to create regular meetings where focus is needed on the project or aspect of the business.

The very fact that there is a fixed deadline to report on progress is often a catalyst that drives the project towards a positive conclusion.

iii) Continuity is the core for your credibility.

Business growth involves a record of success. You cannot set a track record if you are always changing gears or trying new tactics. Many attempts failed before they reached the finish line, but not because the tactics were faulty, or the objectives were not simple. The question is sometimes that the team did not stay the course to achieve the target.

iv) Continuity is equal to significance.

Your staff and clients need a consistent flow of knowledge from you. Far too often, I see companies, both small and large, taking a campaign or initiative just to put an end to it before it gains traction. Several ads, frequent blog posts, weekly newsletters, or continuous process improvements are successful during the year.

v) Continuity defies your reputation.

Your team pays the same or more interest to what you do than to what you say. Continuity in your leadership acts as a guide for their actions. If you view a meeting as irrelevant, do not be shocked to find if they’re doing the same thing to fellow colleagues or even clients.

If something does not work, I ‘m looking back at what happened and asking some important questions. Have we changed gears too rapidly? Did part of the team not make a commitment? Or has the anticipated outcome been off base from the beginning? Much of the time, the cause is traced back to lack of continuity.
