Large quantities of unlicensed medicines have been seized by Department of Health authorities throughout a search of a house in .
A guy was interviewed by department officers about illegally importing and consequently providing unlicensed impotence medicines via the web.
The 47-year-old was also questioned about other medication offenses.
He will now be the topic of a report to the general public Prosecution Service.
The search was brought out by the department’s Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement workplace, Peter Moore, said: “It is essential that we get the message throughout that unlicensed medicines can be unsafe.
“These types of products being sold, typically online, have undergone no quality assurance and there can be no warranty about their safety.
“You simply do not understand what you are taking or the conditions these products were made in. More notably, you do not understand the effect drugs like this might have on your health.”
